BBQ Chicken Pizza
I decided to go back to try the bistro after having their brunch. For my farewell gathering with some of my highschool friends, we went to the bistro because I wanted to try their BBQ chicken pizza. It was deliciousss. Some of the others went with the summerlicious menu meals, but as always the summerlicious menu is never worth it.

Everything Pizza? Tout le garnie? hehe

Fondu Parmesan
For my last night at Trois Rivieres, Jenn and I decided to stay in and call for delivery. We decided to try the pizza place that her class went to. We ordered the everything pizza along with the fondu parmesan.
When we opened the pizza box, we were confused to where our toppings were.. well okay fine, I was confused. The light bulb in my head finally went off, I realized the toppings were under the cheese! duh! hahaha
The fondue also threw me off.. It was just parmesan cheese, fried? Why is it called fondue?
It was very filling and satisfying. Though I think I prefer to have my toppings on top of the cheese.

My sister and I spent all morning baking cookies. We didnt get very far and we had lots more to bake, though she was starving by 1pm. We were planning to go out for lunch, but because we had so much to bake we decided to get take out and stay in. There's a Domino's Pizza close by and I heard they served pretty good pizza for a chain restaurant. We ordered a regular crust hawaiian pizza. I think I prefer their crust over Pizza Pizza's. Though I found that their cheese was a bit too chewy when it cooled, since I was busy making my last batch of cookies before tasting my pizza.

So after much convincing.. well not that much, but enough. I got Will to take me down to Pizza Pide down by Gerrard and Pape for Turkish pizza. It was recommended by my cousin, Matty. :) I wanted to try the assorted pizza and we decided to choose another just in case it wasn't filling. We settled on the chicken - Tavuklu Kasarli. What's different about this pizza is the shape of it, it is oval shaped. The dough isn't thin or thick and the crust isn't really crust rather its just the extra dough fold in. The owners don't speak much English, but very nice. We took forever to decide on the second pide, because we weren't too sure what we wanted to try besides the assorted.
Because Will decided to have a late breakfast, we couldn't finish the two pides and we weren't able to try the nice desserts. He was so stuffed that we decided to walk around Gerrard Square.. which we agreed that it was a bit better than Bridlewood Mall. hehe We decided to go Halloween costume hunting for Will.
I just realized I didn't take any pictures with Will because I was too busy and pre-occupied with taking pictures of the food.

Inside Pizza Pide - It looks really old and shabby from the outside, though I must say they have really clean washrooms. :) I tried to take a picture of the oven, but the reflection sort of washed it out. It's a very small place that cater to dine-in with 5-6 tables and take out.

Tavuklu Kasarli: Chicken strips and mozzarella

Karisik: assorted - every slice is a different taste, containing the best seller pides
I tried to take a picture of the entire dish, but it was too long and I didnt want to stand up for Will was already making fun of my picture taking. In the middle was parsley, raw onions, tomatoe slices and a slice of lemon. Because we never had pides, we weren't exactly sure if they were garnish or if we were suppose to eat them with the pide.

These pictures and the following are the upclose pictures of the assorted toppings on our Karisik Pide.
Left: Turkish sausage. I found the flavour and taste really strong. I didn't like this as much, but I think this was Will's favourite.
Right: Ground beef. Nothing too special about this one.

These two were my favourite ones out of all the toppings, but maybe it's because I really like lamb too. hehe
Left: Lamb, I love the flavour of lamb in general and I think the lack of cheese was even better. This was an end piece, so perhaps the cheese didn't get spread at far. haha
Right: Pastrami, this one was really tasty too. Im not good at describing flavour... so we'll just leave it as very tasty.

Feta: The feta was okay. A bit on the salty side.. I don't normally eat feta.. so I'm unsure of the taste.
Chicken: The chicken again was on the Karisik too... too much chicken! I wanted to try the roast beef. hehe

I just wanted to show a picture of the end and middle piece. hehe

Just some desserts ont he side. One of them was baklava, but Will was too full to try any.

Mini Super Deluxe - With pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, roasted green peppers, salami and tomatoes

Italian Salad - Lettuce, onions, tomatoes, olives, capicolli, mortadella, genoa salami and mozzarella cheese

I just had to show the salad, they are HUGE. The generous amount of ingredients on the pizza is very fresh. I like how the pepperonis are so small. The crust of this pizza isn't very thin, but I enjoyed the crust. It wasn't dry or too chewy.

Pizza Di Sofia - tomoato, mozzarella, sweet genoa salami

Spaghetti Ca'Pummarola N'Goppa - Homemde spaghetti in a fresh tomato sauce with basil and garlic

Thin crust fans will enjoy this pizza. I really like the crust of their pizza, though I found it got cold too quickly. The pasta was delicious. It was very fresh, though the portion of the pasta tends to be a bit smaller than other restaurants.
I was down at the St George Campus studying the other day. My friend and I decided to head over to Papa Ceo's for their pizza on Spadina and Harbord. I read on Chowhound and was told by a classmate that their gourmet pizzas are good. Due to last minute decision, I did not have my camera on me that day. I ordered a veggie slice, because it was topped with spinach, eggplant and i forget what else. They had a huge selection and they were having some kind of discount.. a slice, which was a quarter of a pizza cost only $3.00. Though, their pizza was still kind of cold. My slice was slacking flavour and taste. I also found the crust very chewy and dry.
My next pizza place to try is Mamma's pizza. I heard its pretty good, even though it is a chain.
