Eggs with Peameal

Eggs Benedict

Greek Omlette

Blueberry Pancakes
A very late late post... I made Danny, Evan and David drive all the way to Yonge and Eglinton because I wanted to try Homeway Restaurant's breakfast.
I dont remember much right now, but I like peameal haha
I didnt notice until Krystal was going through my camera and pointed out that Evans pancakes look like french toast!

Smoked Meat

Mushroom Omelette
Again for my birthday, Christine told me I could choose any place I want to go to. I wanted to go to Centre Street Deli for the longestttt time. They are famous for their smoked meat :) Our server was soo nice, she gave us samples before we ordered. As good as it was, it can't compare to Schwartz and its more expensive here too!! Though their fresh cut fries were pretty good.

O&B Breakfast

Eggs Benedict

Mini Desserts
For my birthday, my sister took me out to brunch. No more pastry tour this year :( We always go to O&B for brunch so nothing too special.. just very consistent with their food :)
I had the Eggs Benedict, but I think I prefer their omelette more.. which I had last time. hehe

A heartshaped French Toast :)

Wild Mushroom Omelette - Cremini, shiitake, and oyster mushrooms with Woolrich goat cheese

French Toast - Apple Cinnamon Chutney
I lovee apples and I lovee mushrooms. Chris and I decided to try a new brunch.. actually I made her go with me.. even if she wanted to go to Cora's. hehehe I actually think this place is more worth it than Cora's. I liked the french toast, but there was too much bread. I really enjoyed the omelette.
Though, their fruits are not as fresh and their presentation isnt as cute/pretty as Coras.
We made a heart french toast! :) awwww... hehehe

Steaks and Eggs; Left, Zhan's rainbow spreaded toast haha

My egg-white mushroooommms omelette
I went to Pickle Barrel with Zhan on a Saturday morning. He decided to opt for his steak and eggs and I wanted to try their egg white omelette. I liked how the omelette isn't too oily.
Zhan's mutli jam toast is crazy. HAHAHA You can see that HUGE chunk of peanut butter.

ANOTHER Chez Cora experience.. and with DIFFERENT menu choices! yah! HAHAHA
I went with ddd before I went to work on Friday morning. I decided to get the strawberry yogurt harvest crunch, which was totally not worth it.. but I wanted something healthy and not too filling. I could have totally made this at home. ddd decided to get the lo star omelette, which included bacon, jam, sausages, bologna, spinach, green onions, tomatoes, onions, green peppers, mushroom and cheddar.

Their known homemade waffles and the cinammon french toast.
My sister wanted to try this place. My sister and I headed down on a early Sunday morning. She tried the waffles and I tried the french toast. It was very homemade... something we could have probably whipped up IF we had a waffle maker too. hehe I have read so many good reviews about this place.. its very homey and very old. I dont think I would travel there again for their breakfast. I didnt like their presentation and their fruits. Im not a fan of pear, but I eat it. Though these pears were turning dark and brown very quickly =/

My favourite Eggtart and my leastttt favourite, EWWW but why do all guys love this? Well most guys..

At 11:00Am... We got there around 1030-1045
At 11:08AM...
At 11:13AM

We decided to go out for dim sum yesterday morning... actually more like I dragged the guys out to go to dimsum because they went without me last year. Only 4 of them were able to make it. We ordered 20 dishes for a table of 5. All dishes were only a $1.80 before 11:30AM. We had soooo much food.. but surprising we were able to finish it all.
Though because they went around with the carts... the choices we had were what they brought out. I'm use to having dimsum with a menu and we mark what we want to order. hehehe

I went to Chez Cora on two different occasions this winter break. The first time on the 27th and there was an hour wait at the door.. but because we were craving it so badly we decided to wait. The last and first time I had it was back in Quebec. The second time I went there was no wait.

I have heard good and bad things about Smalltalk. I decided to go with my sister for brunch on her birthday. We arrived just a bit before 11 on Sunday. The place was empty. The man at the door just told us to sit down next to the table near the door. My sister was already annoyed with the service. The man then just came and dropped off our menus. My sister decided to get a hot chocolate, which looks very interesting because it was suppose to be dripped? And she decided to get the egg florentine, whereas I decided to go with the brioche french toast made with Bailey’s Irish Cream with apple sauce and vanilla bean sauce. When my sister asked for the hot chocolate, he told her they didn't have any. =S

Egg Florentine - my sister wasn't too thrilled about her meal. I dont think she enjoyed the salad part too much.

French Toast made with Bailey's Irish Cream w apple sauce and vanilla bean sauce It was interesting. I didn't expect the french toast to look like this. It looked more like pancakes to me. I enjoyed it, but it was very filling and dense. It didn't taste like bread. Though, I think presentation could have been prettier - apple sauce is the pile in the bottom right.
After brunch, my sister and I headed next door to try Rahier the pastry store. =)
